Cabbage, one of the most treasured foodstuffs in Estonia, is a delicious and valuable vegetable fresh, soured as well as baked. Cabbage contains a lot of vitamins and minerals and is a particularly good source of vitamin C, folic acid, calcium, sulphur and chromium. In addition to large amounts of vitamin C, cabbage also contains vitamins P, K, E, D and U. Strengthening the immune system and cleansing the body, cabbage is a healthy side to various dishes, going particularly well with poultry and game!
